The bus system was great and the option we selected had 3 bus companies included for the one ticket price. The people organizing the bus were not very "organized", and the one day we waited nearly 30 minutes. Aside from this, it was an enjoyable experience. They gave out headphones so you could listen to audio on the bus, which explained history of some of the attractions we passed. Not all headphone connections worked, but when it did it was great!

We visited both Palatine Hill and the Colosseum. Our guide, Flavia, was excellent: knowledgeable, thorough, and with a quirky sense of humor. She provided the necessary context to understand the places sometimes, including diagrams and her explanations were clear and fun.. I highly recommend this activity. It’s a long morning, but worth every minute.

When buying tickets, it was indicated that there was an excursion with an interpreter in Russian, but in fact there was none. They tell the history of Rome very feignedly, there are few interesting facts. There is something to compare. The bus was clean, the staff were welcoming. I'm giving the BigBus bus tour three stars because I didn't manage to fully immerse myself in the atmosphere and history. When I tried to sit down at a bus stop in order to drive two stops to the next location, and all the seats were taken, they didn’t let me in.
