We learned the important things at the museum, the past and origins of Rome. Our guide was very nice, friendly and he told us what we needed and wanted to know. We recommend to have a guided tour otherwise I think you won’t see and learn the same things other than seeing them if you’re on your own.

Our guide was not only super knowledgeable about the Vatican museum, Sistine chapel and Raphael rooms but has also excelled in storytelling which made the entire tour more interesting. She would mention some familiar everyday things/concepts and developed a connection with the ancient times (e.g. word Museum comes from the word Muse, or in Italian the city of Rome is spelled Roma and if you reverse the spelling you will get Amor which means love). She has also mentioned not so familiar facts about Michelangelo while working on Sistine chapel, and Raphael while working on the Papals rooms but I will not spoil the surprise. Would definitely recommend this tour!

A really great experience! The works of art and sculptures in the Vatican museums are really breathtaking and towards the end of the tour the highlight takes place: the stay in the Sistine Chapel, a single work of art and the place where the cardinals choose the Pope. Our guide Deny M. has us with us very good knowledge of German through the museums / Sistine Chapel, had enormous specialist knowledge, always brought in suitable background stories and also integrated the children well into the group several times and gave them age-appropriate explanations. I can only recommend a German-speaking tour with Deny!
