We arrived at Butterfly valley early so it was quiet but not many butterflies out. A very pleasant walk up to monastery and back down before the majority of tourists arrived. The boat ride to Halki was very rough. The island was beautiful and we had enough time to explore the town, have lunch, visit the beach and have a last drink before returning to Rhodes. A very long but enjoyable day overall.

A trip that I think you should definitely have made. The world of butterflies with all its small and somewhat larger waterfalls and the shimmering blue crabs is incredibly fascinating. But Chalki has tied me up. I don't know whether it was the dolphins on the way to Chalki, or the Caretta turtles on the way home ... maybe it was Chalki itself with all its little beautiful alleys and the feeling of simply taking things a little more calmly without being bored to feel, but all in all an absolutely recommendable excursion! Crystal clear water ! In the harbour ! Food was good, Halki itself beautiful. It should be noted that Halki is very warm! It is essential to bring sun protection and headgear with you. No high heels for the butterfly valley, maybe a jacket (everything in the shade), it's slalom and a bit bumpy to the top. All in all, I have absolutely nothing to complain about, on the contrary!
