Riviera Maya: Luxury Catamaran Sailing Trip with Lunch

The transportation part was comical. We stayed at the Catalonia Riviera Maya resort but were told we would get picked up from Dreams resort (not a big deal because it was only a 5 min walk). When we got to Dreams, they had no idea about the excursion. The shuttle arrived after a few mins and had passengers that were staying at our resort. Then the shuttle drives about 300 feet back toward our resort, near the marina and drops all of us off. So “Get your guide” made the transportation part way more difficult than it needed to be and should have provided more information on where the boat was because we would have just walked. Once we got on the catamaran, it was AMAZING!!! From start to finish. The staff was so friendly. Snorkeling was probably my favorite part of our entire trip. The open bar and lunch portion was perfect. Lots of tequila shots and a gourmet meal. And they let the sails up for our ride back. It really was incredible and I recommend this excursion!!

Private transportation pickup from my hotel was a plus. Catamaran crew was amazing, they even had a photographer on board really nice girl. Light lunch was perfect, met some great friends as I was traveling solo. Make sure you call the tour company to have the correct pickup hour and location as I almost lost my transportation due to I never received my email pickup confirmation 24hrs before as said in the booking, glad I called them and everything was fixed! Bring your snacks and towels.

Kurzer, ruhiger Ausflug, Team mit Ramon sehr sympatisch und aufmerksam, kleine Gruppe auf dem Katamaran. Snorkelingtour ohne Hektik, es waren relativ wenige andere Boote am gleichen Ankerplatz, leider fehlten doch etwas die Fische und Meerestiere. Waren wohl gerade auf Urlaub.
