Overall rating
You can come to Split and walk around the Roman Emperor Diocletian's Palace for free. But if you really want to make any sense of what you are looking at and walking through then you MUST have Slavko as your guide. It took the whole experience to a different level. Everything became clear and vibrant through Slavko's passionate and informed verbal essay. He's even figured out certain features of the Palace that historians have yet to discover. We also visited the amazing town of Trogir outside Split which is like walking onto a Shakespearean stage set complete with a marble courtroom and a Romeo/ Juliet type courtyard house. Slavko you were everything that makes a guide an essential part of a holiday. Incredible!!!!
