It is one of the most beautiful cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina and is called “the city of sun and platan trees”. The city is the economic and cultural centre of the region of Eastern Herzegovina. Hercegovina is well known for its wine and food. In Trebinje you will visit Hercegovačka Gračanica. You can climb up the Hercegovačka Gračanica hill for great panoramic views of the whole town of Trebinje area, Friar's field, Trebisnjica River and Leotar mountain in the back. Learn about Easter Orthodox religion and visit Eastern Orthodox Church of Holy Announciation. After Hercegovačka Gračanica you will explore Trebinje Old Town Your guide will explain how the city of Trebinje grew over centuries.
