We start the pick up at the hotel and head to the exit of Ushuaia along National Route No. 3. Our first stop is at the balcony of the Carbajal Valley to marvel at the view of a valley of glacial origin through which the Olivia River flows. We continue the tour and take the opportunity to make a technical stop at the tourist centers in the valleys. We return to the path along the route, always marveling at the spectacular views of the Andes mountain range. We arrive at the Garibaldi Pass Viewpoint, the point where we cross the mountain range and reach the north of the island to have the first postcard of the Escondido and Fagnano lakes, we begin to descend through an alternative path to begin the Off Road journey towards the head of Lago Escondido. Here we will enter the Fuegian forest along the roads used by the first logging operations to access the circuit accessible only by 4x4 vehicle that will take us directly to Lake Fagnano where we will be able to observe the peculiarities of the area, including the Magellan fault. We will have lunch at the head of Lake Escondido in an authentic Fuegian inn. After dinner and a warm conversation, our return to the city will begin.

Visit the country house located near the lake, and enjoy a coffee as you learn more about the history of the home. Discover its use as a resting and supply post for those crossing the mountains in centuries past. Before returning to Ushuaia, you will have the opportunity to have some lunch at a local restaurant, at your own expense. Finish the tour with drop-off at your hotel in Ushuaia.

An off-road vehicle will pick you up at your hotel to take you through the Fuegian Andes Mountain Range to visit three special viewpoints. Head down an old woodcutter's path across the forest and down a hill until you reach Fagnano Lake. Then, cross by foot the beautiful native forest towards Escondido Lake. Then, enjoy a traditional Argentine lunch with a 3 courses menu. Finally, after lunch, grab the oars with a paddle buddy to start your 45-minute canoe excursion. Enjoy the beautiful landscape from the water. At the end of the tour, you will be dropped off at your hotel in Ushuaia.

Depart from the house and follow your guide on a moderate hike through the wilderness. Keep a lookout for beavers along the way and learn about the region’s native flora and fauna. Immerse yourself in the incredible nature of Tierra del Fuego on this full-day tour. After getting picked up from your hotel in Ushuaia, head inland driving the National Route 3, leaving the Beagle Channel and Ushuaia bay following upstream the Olivia River to reach the Carbajal Valley. Once driving this dramatic valley with magnificent views you will see different winter sports centers (heart of the winter activities in Ushuaia) and will have the chance to visit a huskie dogs sled center or a special local Gin Distillery. After sometime driving the Carbajal Valley cross over the Andes northwards through the Garibaldi Pass taking alternative mountainous roads through forest, crossing streams, passing beaver dams. and reaching great views of the Escondido and Fagnano Lake. At the shore of the Escondido Lake enjoy an easy walk and a coffee break with nice views. Some more driving and you will be in front of the 5th largest lake of Argentina: Fagnano Lake. With its 60+ miles of lenght this massive lake will be the return point to go back to the south face of the Andes Range again. Once at the car, head to a traditional Argentine restaurant located at a cross-country ski center in the Carbajal Valley.
