Incredible experience! We both had really lovely and experienced pilots who made us feel safe and reassured the whole time. We were picked up on time, and driven up to the take off spot. Would definitely advise spraying bug spray before going up to the take off area as we were eaten alive by mozzys! The included video was great quality and the 360 option was exceptional. Highly recommend this company!!

Full description

Benefit from pickup from your hotel, São Conrado Subway station, or make your own way to the Brazilian Confederation of Hang Gliding headquarters to meet your instructor. 
Then take a 15-minute jeep ride into Tijuca National Park, arriving at the Pedra Bonita Ramp, 1,700 feet (520 meters) above sea level. After a safety briefing and a rehearsal, it's time for takeoff.
Take the leap and experience incredible views of the Atlantic Ocean, Rio’s famous beaches, the statue of Christ the Redeemer, Sugarloaf Mountain, Guanabara Bay and much more. 
Your tandem flight ends with a smooth landing on the beach at São Conrado and the entire adventure will be captured by GoPro cameras attached to the wing. Enjoy an unforgettable sightseeing experience in Rio de Janeiro.

Know before you go

  • This tour is not recommended for people weighing more than 92kg, we depends off the Wind conditions to decide Between Hang Gliding or Paragliding.
  • All participants must purchase flight insurance 20 USD upon arrival at the meeting point
  • Ask your instructor if you want more of an adrenaline rush during your flight
  • The flight time will be approximately 7 to 15 minutes, depending on wind conditions. The entire tour duration is approximately 2.5 hours
  • If you have a GoPro of your own, you can bring it and attach it to your flight helmet
  • The footage of the front camera is included, but you can also purchase the photos and video from the side and back cameras
  • The minimum age requirement for this activity is 14 years old
