Full description

First, listen to a short briefing from the world's most safe and experienced Hang Glider tandem pilots. They will tell you about the take-off and other aspects of hang gliding before you get airborne. Then, glide smoothly through the tropical air after about 7 steps over the edge of the platform. Any fear you may have will soon disappear and you will experience a very unique sense of tranquility. Enjoy bird's eye views of Rio de Janeiro's main attractions, including Sugar Loaf Mountain, Corcovado, Copacabana, Ipanema, Lagoa and Niteroi city on the other side of Guanabara Bay. Land safely on a sandy beach in São Conrado and enjoy some refreshments as you watch others come in to land. The entire activity will be video recorded on cameras attached to the glider so that you can share your adventure with your friends and family back home.

  • The maximum weight permitted is 100 kilograms depending on conditions present this can vary slightly.

Es war ein Erlebnis. Ich hatte einen deutschsprachigen Guide gebucht … mein Flugbegleiter konnte die Sprache aber nicht . Er war sehr freundlich und ich fühlte mich bei ihm sicher . Der kurze Anlauf auf dem Berg und der Fall in die Tiefe …. Sehr aufregend..

El instructor no hablaba español (en la reserva lo había pedido expresamente) tenia una actitud poco profesional, llegó tarde y se ponía a hacer bromas con los controladores cuando teníamos todo preparado y ya en posición para el despegue. Esperábamos que el viento estuviera a nuestro favor ya listos para empezar a correr y despegar. Todo el rato me estaba diciendo que mirara la cámara y se ponía a saludar a la gente de los rascacielos, mucho show. Al aterrizar todo fue bien y muy seguro pero minutos antes casi se lleva por delante a una señora que estaba en la playa. Mucha insistencia en general con vender los videos a precios desorbitados para hacer negocio incluyen varias cámaras y luego hay que esperar cuando has terminado un buen rato para que te manden el vídeo.

“Went up as a woman, came back down as a child” - Klaus, my hang-gliding pilot From the get go, I experienced very responsive & accommodating customer service via WhatsApp. When I was picked up, I was of course feeling nervous & excited, and Klaus’ easygoing, lighthearted nature immediately put me at ease. I was briefed very clearly, and felt very well-taken care of and supported by the whole team through what could have been a nerve-wracking virgin hang-gliding flight. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to see the world from a different perspective, reawaken their sense of wonder & awe and essentially feel like a child again.
