What to Expect
Following pick-up in the Catete, Laranjeiras, Flamengo, Botafogo, Copacabana, Ipanema and Leblon neighborhoods of Rio de Janeiro, journey to the Tijuca National Park.
Upon arrival, hike to the rock of Pedra Bonita and experience one of the best hiking trails in the city. Journey along the trails of Sector C in Tijuca National Park and arrive at the top of the mountain in about 40 minutes. Take in the stunning views of the beaches of Rio de Janeiro's West Zone, including Barra da Tijuca.
See the ramp where hang gliders launch themselves into the air, and admire the rock of Gavea, considered the highest mountain by the sea in the world at a staggering 842 meters high. Next, go to the Vista Chinesa for a spectacular panorama from the Chinese-style gazebo. Look across other parts of Rio de Janeiro, including the neighborhood of Lagoa, Ipanema Beach and the Sugar Loaf mountain.
End the day with a refreshing dip at one of the waterfalls of Tijuca National Park.
