One cannot leave Rio without visiting Christ The Redeemer, its a blessing to see this iconic statue which one of the new seven wonders of the world. Our guide Marlene was good, unfortunately due to the delay in transportation some of the sights were cut short on time. The all you can eat buffet with this package was outstanding, the colorful Selaron steps and other sights along this trip made it a memorable one for me and my wife who travelled to Brazil for the first time, although we have travelled to around 25 countries, this trip was out of this world.

Start your tour in comfort, with convenient pickup from the main hotels in the South Zone (Copacabana, Ipanema, Leblon, Leme) and Barra da Tijuca.

Your adventure begins with an ascent to Corcovado Mountain, where you'll have the option to either ride by van or board the train, according to the option purchased, both weaving through the lush Tijuca Forest. At the summit, behold the awe-inspiring Christ the Redeemer statue, offering unparalleled panoramic views of Rio's breathtaking landscape.

Continue your journey to the legendary Maracanã football stadium, known for its imposing architecture and storied history. Then, venture to the renowned Sambódromo, the vibrant venue of Rio's annual Carnival parade, where you can immerse yourself in the city's rich cultural heritage. Please note that both visits are external, allowing you to appreciate these landmarks from the outside.

  • If your hotel is not available, our team will direct you the nearest departure hotel.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of participants. If the experience is canceled due to lack of participants, the activity provider will offer a different date or a full refund.
  • The 'Christ the Redeemer by Van & City Tour' option excludes lunch and admission to Sugarloaf. If you select this option, you'll wait until the lunch break and Sugarloaf visit conclude before returning to your hotel by van (or you can arrange your own return). Tickets can be purchased onsite as well.
  • Booking appointments on the same day as the tour is not advised, as return times may vary due to traffic.
  • The itinerary order of the tour may be subject to change based on traffic conditions or weather.
