Now it's time to begin your ascent on a steep jungle trail through Tijuca Forest National Park. The journey to the top of Corcovado Mountain takes around 2.5 hours, and is well worth the hike. Located at 2,330 feet (710 meters) is the iconic Cristo Redentor statue, one of the New 7 Wonders of the World.
After enjoying the views, begin your way back to your hotel with a ride in a car or a van.
