Rio: Christ the Redeemer Official Ticket by Cog Train

Rio: Christ the Redeemer Official Ticket by Cog Train

Go all the way up to the iconic statue of Christ the Redeemer by the Corcovado Train. The train rides through a railway inside Tijuca National Park, the largest urban forest in the world, making a unique view over Rio de Janeiro city. Enjoy an amazing ride on a train that takes you right up to the foot of the statue of The Christ, one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World and one of the most famous sights in Brazil. Besides admiring one of the most beautiful landscapes of the city, you will take a walk through Brazil's history. The Corcovado Railroad was the first electrified railroad in Brazil. Inaugurated in 1884 by D. Pedro II, it is older than Christ the Redeemer itself. In fact, it was the train that, during four consecutive years, transported pieces for monument’s construction. Your visit starts on the century-old electric locomotive, riding across the preserved Atlantic Forest, part of the Tijuca National Park. At the foot of the statue of Christ, you'll be able to take in the most beautiful view over the city, and see from above what makes Rio de Janeiro so special.

It was a fantastic day. Amazing views and vibes were up. Food was also delicious! They gave us a fair amount of time to swim in different locations, by the end of the day you are tired. My only issue was the pickup and drop off. They stop at each individual stop for every passenger, meaning it can take a whole hour or two just to get you down the road, recommend getting off earlier and getting a taxi/uber home. Despite that, I would recommend it!

Amazing trip, publio is an amazing guide, very friendly, speaks very good English and was always present when you needed him. He even organized a birthday surprise for me! Boat trip was very nice, we had enough time on the beaches, snorkeling gear can be rented although, there is not much to see as there is no reef.

Partner and I had the best time, it was the ideal way to end our trip. Lovely views, drinks and ofc amazing sunset. The tour staff were all accommodating and absolutely fantastic service. I would recommend it 100%. Memorable experience.

The activity was really interesting. We covered a magnificent part of Brazil. I particularly enjoyed swimming among the fish. I recommend !

The guide Filipe was very responsible. Our activities during trip were wonderful, sights were beautiful!
