After the preparations and instructions of the guide on Slatina Beach, we’ll start teaching you the basics of SUP paddling. When the technique is mastered, we’ll go on an adventure in the nearby bay on SUPs that have underwater lights. Along the way, we’ll learn something about the fascinating history of nearby churches, hotels, beaches and parks. This SUP adventure is perfect for families, friends and couples, so join us! Previous experience on SUP is not necessary, but every participant must know how to swim. During the whole adventure we’ll paddle on SUPs in the shallow water and you will be able to see the seafloor. Paddling on a SUP is not hard, and can be easily and quickly mastered. Most importantly, bring your smile and motivation, and we will take care of everything else.

Explore Opatija by kayak. Rowing, swimming and snorkeling in the coves and beaches from Slatina to Volosko. Firstly, after preparations and instructions from the guide on Slatina beach, we will start kayaking to Volosko. Along the way, you will hear fascinating stories from the past and present of Opatija and other places we pass by. Through this excursion we will make a few stops for swimming and snorkeling. The beauty of Opatija, its hotels, villas and parks will surely delight you. This kayak tour is perfect for families with children, friends, couples and large or small groups. EXTENDED TOUR This tour takes you into the turbulent past of Rijeka, and not just anywhere but exactly to the locations where that past took place. The tour of historical sites is also a trip to nature, where you can enjoy stunning views of the city. The focal point of the tour is a series of under- and above-ground fortresses that were built in the 30s of the 20th century as the defence of the then borders. With their construction and location, the fortresses are a masterpiece of military engineering of their era. At the same time, the route leading to them is equally interesting and historically important. We start and end it in the city centre, drive along the Louisiana and Petroleum roads, stop at historically important locations such as Banska vrata and bridge Pašac, and enjoy a bird’s-eye view of the city. The crown of the tour is a walk through the 1000 m long underground fortress Katarina B and the story of the Battle of Rijeka, the battle for the liberation of Rijeka in World War II. During the walk along an easy hiking trail, we will also visit the above-ground parts of several other fortresses and enjoy the view of the Rječina river canyon and Rijeka’s old mills, which you can get to know better on our tour Cycling Around. The tour ends in the entrance hall of the unfinished underground fortress San Giovanni with socializing, a glass of wine and screening of a short film about the restoration of Rijeka after the Second World War. Discover the beauty of Plitvice Lakes National Park on a day trip from Rijeka. Explore the park's 16 terraced lakes, connected by a series of waterfalls, and enjoy a boat and a panoramic train ride. Start your day with a 2.5-hour drive from Rijeka to Plitvice Lakes National Park. Upon arrival, meet your guide and head to the park entrance. Get your ticket and enter the park with all the information you need to explore the beautiful nature of Plitvice Lakes. Spend around 4.5 to 5 hours in the park, and choose from 2 suggested routes. Follow the B-route, which is 4 kilometers long, or the C-route, which is 8 kilometers long. Both routes include walking, a boat tour, and a panoramic train ride. Your tour will begin with Postojna Cave, one of the best-known caves in the world. It is also the greatest tourist attraction in Slovenia and one of the world’s largest karst monuments. As the only preserved cave castle in Europe, the Predjama Castle offers a unique insight into the building techniques and resourcefulness of people in the Middle Ages, who were looking for and found a safe harbor for themselves right at the entrance of the cave. During a siege that took place in the 15th century, the castle provided a refuge for its best known and most notorious owner, Erazem of Predjama. The legend of the courageous robber baron Erazem, who remained undefeated until one of his servants betrayed him, is still in people’s minds, inspiring and alluring as ever. It was this safe abode of his which helped the brave knight resist the besiegers without much difficulty for more than a year.
