Things to do in Rijeka Crnojevića

I cannot put into words how amazing this tour was. Our guide (I can't remember his name) was so lovely and knowledgeable. He's been doing boat tours on the lake for 10 years and gives interesting facts as well as anecdotes of growing up on the lake. He answered all and any questions as well as just casual conversation. Lots of birds to see including Herons, Bee-eaters and Pelicans. The natural beauty is stunning. We had been provided with binoculars to share and our guide knew each bird well. We stopped for a swim at a small beach for a swim, which was divine on a 35 degree day. The boat is covered so you do get shade, plus there is water and juice available but I would say always bring your own as well. Although we were booked for a 3 hour trip we were actually on the water for 3.5hrs. The organisation was so good and the people were lovely and helpful. For those with accessibility needs - There are steep stairs down to the boat and you have to climb on and out the boat.
