Main Stop A - Triangula Bastion ( Parking for Buses, 11. novembra krastmala 17, Centra rajons, Rīga, LV-1050, Latvija) Discover Riga on a hop-on hop-off tour. First, the bus goes to Pardaugava, an area that overlooks ancient cathedrals on the left bank of the river Daugava. Crossing the Stone Bridge, take in the panorama of the Old City.  Then, pass the Boulevard Ring, see the famous Monument of Freedom, the Opera House, the Powder Tower, and much more. See Riga's Central Market, the largest covered market in Europe. Then you can see a range of architectural styles, from romantic facades to decorative art nouveau. Triangula Bastion ("Triangular Bastion") was one of the Riga fortification bastions built on the right bank of the Daugava River after the end of the Great Northern War in 1727. Its foundations were excavated in 2000 and today its remains can be seen under an office building on the 11 November Embankment.

I didn’t realize that ABBA museum wasn’t included until entrance. I thought it was as it was listed in the app and website.

Hop on hop off. Best way to get your bearings in a new town. We always book this for our first day. However, this was our bus drivers first day and he was very unsure about our pre booked tickets on our phones. Caused a wee mix up. Also the bus was a bit old and half tye headphones didn’t work so we had to swap about seats a bit to find ones that did. Sometimes the info was also out of sync. But still let us get orientated and was cosy for a random cold day. ( top up). Good views from upstairs and gave us ideas for places to visit over the next few days.
