We had an amazing time during this tour! The tour was really beautiful. The hike was mostly in the shade, so even though it was pretty hot, it was totally doable. Of course the waterfall was beautiful, but so was the rest of the tour. We can't recommend this tour enough! Also, our tour guide Giorgos was very nice! He took the time to tell us about everything we saw during the tour, he took pictures of us and was overall super friendly. He also made sure everyone was okay and comfortable, and made sure we stayed hydrated. At first, we didn't know what to expect from this tour, so we were happily surprised when we saw how it was. The hike was amazing and the tour guide was awesome! So if you have any doubts about this tour, just book it. We promise you, you won't regret it!

Our guide, a Swiss national, spoke excellent German and drove safely and with experience. The journey to pick up the other guests was long but filled with interesting conversation. The hike is varied, herbs and plants were explained. We were able to swim extensively at the waterfall, which only had moderate water, as there were few visitors there. Then we made a detour to old settlements and the gnarled olive tree. The Greek food with a magnificent view was unforgettable. The short visit to the oil factory with the opportunity to buy something was also nice. Our guide offered chilled water all day. A very nice tour that we can recommend and that is worth the money. Big thanks to our relaxed tour guide.

The Richtis Gorge trek is a really nice short activity that one can enjoy in Crete. Not as strenuous as the other hikes with enough cover and greenery to not be very tiring. The paths are marked quite well and can be traversed by most people without too much effort. Our guide Giorgos was a local who was well informed about the region and the place and took the extra effort of picking us up from Heraklion. Overall a great and friendly person to talk to and enjoy the day with. For the more serious hikers you can always choose one of the more tougher hikes and get some recommendations from him as well.

This is a brilliant trip. The scenery en route and the hike up the gorge are spectacular. Also not to be missed is the walk/scramble to the Minoan village ruins and the oldest olive tree in Greece. Our guide was very personable, well-informed and attentive to everyone’s needs. The lunch at the taverna with its panoramic view is not to be missed. Excellent value.

Enrico guide was amazing!!!! So many interesting facts he told us about Crete, so friendly, understanding and kids. Wish there’s more guides like him!!! Totally made our trip unforgettable!
