What People Are Saying About Rialto Bridge

So interesting and so full of fun, food and local travel tidbits

We had a lovely time. Our group of 6 got along famously. The guide Allesandra was a gem!

Exceeded Expectations and Claire was fantastic!

Our tour guide Claire was fantastic and her knowledge and passion for Venice was second to none. I would highly recommend the tour for those wanting a true taste of Venice.

Excellent demonstration of local bars, wines and dishes.

My fiancee and I were very happy with this tour. In fact, we wish we would have taken the tour at the beginning of our trip to gain a better understanding of the local scene and flavors. Instead, we participated in the tour near the end of our stay in Venice and fell prey to many tourist trap restaurants and bars, despite research on how to avoid such places. Nevertheless, the food and wine enjoyed on the tour made up for all the just meh food and drink we had tried before. Additionally, our guide Iole was amazing and really made a point to make sure we experienced the Venetian tradition of cicchetti in unique and historical establishments with lots of character.

Abbondanza! A wonderful blend of food, wine, history and culture!

Warning: come hungry! Allessandra, our tour guide, brought us through the old and new Ghetto districts, explaining the origins and changes through history, and stopped at a bakery to pick up a sweet and savory unleavened pastry to start the food part of the tour. We then toured through winding streets and alleys, crossing many bridges in the Cannaregio district, on our giro d'ombra, stopping at 3 bacari to sample wine & cicchetti (don't call them tapas!). Then to a restaurant for wonderful pasta with (of course) more wine. Then on to a favorite gelateria near Campo di Santi Apostoli to end our tour. A delicious blend of food, wine, history and culture, hosted by a great tour guide, Allessandra, who kept us informed and entertained. Highly recommended - a great introduction to a side of Venice we never glimpsed on our first visit. Also a great value!
