Picked up at our hotel on small, air conditioned minibus, by friendly driver. Picked up other passengers on the way to Filerimos Hill. Lots of peacocks wandering around, new feathers still growing so no impressive tail fanning. Great views, monastery beautiful. Clean toilets. Onwards to Butterfly Valley, where we had about 2 hours to explore the upper and lower routes. Very peaceful, large crabs in the tumbling stream, butterflies mostly on trees and surrounding rocks, also saw some small lizards. Paths uneven and steep in places, so definitely need sensible shoes. Cafe and toilets at the top (needed a 50 cent Euro). We had time to do both upper and lower routes.

I liked it, it was very fast and organized when moving from one object to another. The sights themselves were very interesting and educational. I really liked looking at the butterflies, climbing up the cliff. I have never seen such a number of butterflies in one place. For all nature lovers, this is just right. I recommend it!
