Full description
Benefit from pickup at your hotel in Ialyssos, Ixia or Rhodes Town and drive along the east coast of Rhodes as you listen to an historic overview of the island. Make your way to the Kallithea Springs, just 9 kilometers from Rhodes Town. Admire the romantic sculptures, fountains and flower-filled yards of black and white pebbles. Then, continue along the west coast to reach 7 Springs Valley, known for its luxuriant gorge and abundant running water that attracts thousands of visitors in the summer. Journey through a landscape of olive, cypress and pomegranate trees, and head up into the mountains to visit Filerimos, where the ancient town of Ialyssos once stood. Say hello to the peacocks that live in the area on arrival. Then, explore the archaeological site of the oldest of the 3 ancient city-states of Rhodes. Wander along the old stone path towards the imposing cross to get a scenic view of the west coast and visit the medieval Filerimos Monastery.

Great Day Out!

Brilliant day out, was given enough time at all the locations and the tour guide was brilliant (Nectarina I think her name was) Only thing was there was no designated lunch stop or place for lunch and the locations just had small on-site coffee shops. Have recommended the trip to my friend who is going to Rhodes in a few weeks time.

Mariana and driver exceptional, places visited the same.

Our day was really good driver ( unfortunately cannot remember his name) were exceptional and made the day Venues we’re really good and Mariana described the island history and venue information clearly and with some entertainment. The only slight negative is the day should be extended to give a little more time at each venue as there is so much to see ( particularly the filerimos cross and church as they’re are too far apart to visit both And butterfly valley as you can easily get drawn into going to the top then having to rush back down
