Overall a nice trip. The island is beautiful, but unfortunately completely overrun with tourists. Even the locals got the feeling that they were a little annoyed by the crowds. The 3.5 hours were absolutely sufficient to explore the island. You can't really see more than the promenade here. Most were already back on the ship after 2.5 hours, since the best places at the top were very crowded.

That was a very nice trip to Symi. If you only stay at the port in Symi, it is full of people. We walked the road towards the beach. After about 1000m the actual small beach follows, which is no longer marked on the map. All small but nice. Don't forget bathing shoes. There are nice little restaurants near the beach. The food was delicious and came quickly. I would have liked to have stayed there longer. The organization was great from the first confirmation email about picking up from the hotel. The driver was on time and friendly. Everything went fine. There were about 200 guests on the ship. If you have sensitive ears, you should take a hat with you because of the wind. So I could stand at the railing and enjoy the wind and enjoy the small island bays, mountains, etc. It was a great trip and it was worth getting up early for.

It was well organised with local pick up in minibus to harbour where we boarded huge boat . It was crowded with not many places to sit . It was noisy music and it took a long time to get to Symi island . We hoped to stop on way back for swim but it was probably too busy to do that .
