Very comfortable bus, pacey trip due to time of year and daylight available. Oscar was a great guide very informative and organised, drove on icy roads with care and checked in with everyone and answered questions. Lots of opportunities to take great photos, the meal was delicious - buffet style and all you can eat but fresh and tasty food. Thank you for a memorable day!
We booked a minibus trip, but only we 2 reserved, The travel agency, East West Iceland Tours, did for us a private tour instead of cancelling it. Our local guide, Steinthor, was passionate about nature and his country and we got that passion. Impossible for us doing that tour by ourselves in a rent car. He drives us into the wild nature, safely and cautiously in our 4 * 4 even by unmarked roads; we went across mountains, to glaciers, volcanos, to see "the trolls" at the coast, we also followed the steps of Jules Verne and we approach the entrance to the center of the land.. Sometimes you could feel alone in this amazing and magnificent world. Getting back we stayed at Johana´s place to have dinner: A friendly woman who was happy seeing us how we enjoyed her excellent homemade food. And finally another gift, he gave us an extra round off busy roads, under a clear sky, and he waited unhurriedly for the aurora borealis to visit us. NO WORDS ENOUGH TO SAY STEINTHOR, EAST-WEST THANKS
