Embark on a tour of Iceland’s legendary Golden Circle and soak in the thermal waters of the Secret Lagoon. Explore the southwest, including the spectacular Geysir area, Gullfoss Waterfall, and Þingvellir National Park.

After pickup in central Reykjavik, head to the Secret Lagoon and have 1.5 hours to unwind in the thermal waters and admire the peaceful surroundings.

Continue to the active hot spring of Strokkur and watch it spout steaming water 30 meters every 8 minutes. Arrive at Gullfoss Waterfall and feel the spray of the glacial Hvítá River as it plummets down into a 32-meter-deep crevice.

Next, visit Þingvellir National Park, where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates are pulling apart at a rate of a few centimeters every year. Þingvellir was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2004.

The tour included the Kerid crater, the secret lagoon, the geysers, and the national park. It was a great time but I wish we could have spent more time in each location. Also, we had to pay for our lunch in addition to the cost of the tour, but Gunnar, our tour guide, took us to a location with a restaurant which we were grateful for. Gunnar kept the tour interesting and he was extremely knowledgeable and kind. Getting picked up for the tour was a bit disorganized but Gunnar found us at our selected location and then we began. For the price, you get to see a lot of sites so I do believe the money is worth it.

Absolutely fantastic experience, the views and sights was nothing short of spectacular. We visited the Kerid crater, the geysers, Gullfoss falls and the Secret Lagoon in a small group which was perfect. Our tour guide Petur was very knowledgeable and gave us a great insight into the Icelandic culture and history. The coach inbetween the destinations was comfy and warm.

the tour was great. we had small hiccups at the beginning with an unexpected road closure but our driver Willi added some extra stops and did an amazing job taking us around the Golden circle. FYI, the first hour of the trip is just picking people up and get to your smaller bus. I definitely enjoyed the smaller group and the stop at the lagoon
