It was a brilliant experience. The overalls were a great help to keep you warm when outside! We got so lucky and saw 3 humpbacks!
We went as a last minute idea. Staff were great from the start, they warned us the water was choppy and offered to reschedule if we were prone to sea sickness as well as offering sickness tablets. Our guide was doing his first trip and he did brilliantly. We were lucky to see 3 hump back whales and he gave us a heads up on where they were every time. The boat got us efficiently to where the whales were and positioned itself so a lot of people were at a good view point to see the whales. At the end we were given a very informative talk on whales and Icelandic values which we found to be very interesting and a great way to end the tour. Only small fault I have is that the overalls were a bit wet from previous tours. Although we do understand these would be difficult to dry out due to the material. Overall would recommend this tour if you are thinking of going whale watching.
