  • Discover the wildlife of the bay
  • Admire the beautiful coastline and the islands near Reykjavik
  • See various sea birds, including puffins during the summer
Full description

The tour begins with a cruise along the beautiful coastline of Reykjavik before heading out to Faxafloi Bay in search of whales. The minke whales and humpback whales are the main goal of this tour, the giants of the ocean.

With a bit of luck, you may even spot a group of white-beaked dolphins and harbor porpoises. There's also a good chance that you'll observe different sea birds and puffins throughout the summer.

During the summer, the puffins are frequently seen sitting on the ocean and diving for food. This activity enables you to escape the crowds and benefit from a yacht cruise with fewer passengers and more personal service on board. Ride on a stable boat with an on-board bar and lounge and spacious outdoor deck areas for maximum comfort.

It was really cold, windy and rainy. The boat was great, staff friendly. It was very nauseating, a few vomited. The tablets were also available for free. We saw a lot of Walle, 3 were at our boat for at least 30 minutes. Unfortunately we didn't get rescue services in advance like other boats we saw on the way. Maybe it's not mandatory either, but it was so stormy that I was a little afraid of standing outside without a vest. Otherwise the trip was unforgettable (maybe because of nausea and a little fear).

The trip was nice. The captain and the other colleagues went out of their way to show us the whale. Not even the shadow of the puffins. Obviously, it must be said that sightings are not always insured. The trip was worth it anyway. You can take nice pictures of Reykjavik and the Harpa from behind

An excellent boat and crew... great service. Got to see whales and a large pod of dolphins too as an added bonus. Would thoroughly recommend the team!
