Small but beautiful. Not as natural as expected. Felt more like a Disney creation. Transportation required to leave from main terminal which was a hike out of town. Confusion on drop off at end of day. Amenities were a bit lame and fast paced and crowded. Lagoon itself was relaxing. Don't need to go back but not sorry we went.

The transport was super easy. I just walked to the bus station and the busses were there waiting with a sign saying "Skye Lagoon". On the way back they leave every 2 hours which is just the right of time to enjoy the lagoon and the ritual. Unfortunately for me, I just missed the bus and had to wait 2 hours for the next one. They do have a coffee shop there to hang out in though. The lagoon itself exceeded my expectations. It has a mystical feel with the tall rocks and steam. The ritual was an experience. I found the sauna rooms got a little too hot for me to handle so couldn't stay long, not sure how other people did it! but I loved the salt scrub! Facilities are clean and showers are in private cubicles.

Never been to anything like this before and after reading the reviews booked the 7 step ritual with a transfer. The whole experience went brilliantly, sky lagoon was perfect, so lovely and clean and the view from the infinity pool were amazing. Certainly a very special place. Would highly recommend and would definitely go back next time we are in Iceland.
