While the price tag may seem high, a two course meal for one person anywhere in Iceland generally costs around $60. To get a five-course meal with a friendly and knowledgeable guide to answer questions and guide you around the capitol is a huge deal. The food was mostly great, with lamb and fish appetizers, a famous Icelandic hot dog, two large entrees of Atlantic Char and fish mash, a meat soup and the infamous fermented shark, and lastly a serving of ice cream and an Icelandic donut. There's plenty to eat, you explore Reykjavík as you walk from place to place, and the guide is happy to tell you interesting facts about the city and country. Very glad I did this on my last night in the country.

Also, the places we visited and foods we tried were great.. Everyone on the tour enjoyed it. I highly recommend this activity.
