this was an amazing activity early start for the lava caves which were absolutely breathtaking taking to see up close and the tour guide was extremely passionate about them it was infectious later after a stop at a baker we went onto the snorkeling and I had been looking forward to this the whole holiday, my husband not so much on account of the cold water, but. He absolutely loved it! he left me behind actually lol we both loved it Weronika our guide was amazing and so patient it's an absolute must!

Incredible experience! Our lava caving tour guide was so helpful and it really felt like she loved her job. She was absolutely full of energy and also very understanding, always checking everyone was okay, Between activities, we were dropped off to a little bakery, which was absolutely amazing and so yum, we were only here for 30 mins but it was a nice touch to the day. The snorkelling was a once in a lifetime experience, our guide John was absolutely brilliant and made sure everyone was okay and really guided everyone through the experience. I would 10000% recommend booking this, most incredible experience.

Next, dive into your second adventure: snorkeling in Silfra, an ethereal fissure nestled in Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Famous for its crystal-clear water and stunning blue hues, Silfra offers an unparalleled opportunity to float between the tectonic plates of North America and Eurasia. Accompanied by a PADI certified snorkeling guide, you’ll glide effortlessly along the gentle current, experiencing a sense of weightlessness in some of the clearest water on Earth.

All necessary gear is provided, ensuring a safe and unforgettable journey through Iceland’s unique landscapes above and below ground.
Our guide takes underwater photos (free!) and we enjoy hot cocoa after snorkeling to warm up from the glacial waters.

*Participants need to be comfortable in the water and be able to swim. You cannot participate if you are pregnant due to the small risk of cold water entering the suit.

For the first activity, join us at Raufarholshellir Lava Tunnel! Please arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled 9:30 departure time. After lava caving, refuel before joining us at the second meeting location in Thingvellir National Park. Snorkeling begins at 14:00 sharp - Please arrive at least 15 minutes beforehand! Park at ''“Thingvellir Parking P5'' then walk 400m back along the road until you reach a smaller car park with all the snorkel and dive vans. Look for Arctic Adventures.
