This tour is a really good introduction to the beautiful city of Reykjavik. Our guide was friendly and very knowledgeable and we saw and learnt a lot. His English, like all Icelanders we met, was excellent, so we and the four Dutch people on the tour understood everything he said. The city is small so the duration of the tour was about right. We learnt some history, some geography and geology, some architectural and some cultural information about Iceland. We had arrived the night before and wanted to do the tour the next day to get our bearings, which was a good call. I would recommend this tour as a great way to learn about the city and the country and to interact with a very knowledgeable local guide.

We had such a wonderful time on the walking tour of Reykjavik. Though it was raining, and we had just gotten off of the airplane, we were invigorated when we met our guide. He was so outgoing and bubbly that we couldn't help but have a good time. Not only did we get a tour of the city, we also got some tips and tricks for saving money in Iceland. Overall, we were super impressed by the thoroughness of the tour, the time and attention we were given, the story telling of Icelandic history and old mythology, and the energy of our guide. We could not have been happier. We had a lovely time and I would recommend the walking tour to anyone coming to Reykjavik.

We had Lalli as our guide, he was AMAZING! Really knew his information, while making us all feel happy and comfortable. Was able to answer any questions we had! He also had lots of historical pictures which was really helpful when trying to picture the stories and information. Would highly highly recommend. If I’m ever back I would definitely come again!
