Full description

Visit Iceland’s natural wonders on this 8-hour minibus tour accompanied by a professional guide. The Golden Circle route covers a 300km loop from Reykjavík to central Iceland and back. Visit Thingvellir, a pivotal landmark that connects all the major events in the founding of the Icelandic commonwealth. It’s also the best place on earth to view the North Atlantic divergent ridge. Stop at Fríðheimar farm, owned by the same family since 1995. The family, besides growing tomatoes and cucumbers, are passionate about horses. Enjoy a truly unique experience and meet the Icelandic horses up close on a visit to the stables. You might get a chance to pet them and maybe take a selfie! Lunch (at your own expense) will be held in the greenhouse where you will have the possibility to purchase local products on the menu after a visit of the stables. See Gullfoss, which is considered the most beautiful of Iceland’s 30,000 waterfalls. You’ll also see Kerið, a striking crater lake filled with milky blue-green water and surrounded by stark black and deep red slopes.

A fantastic day trip! Our tour guide was extremely knowledgable and friendly and made sure to leave enough time at each stop along the way for exploring and photos. We unfortunately had a bit of rain and wind on the day of our tour, but the sites were still absolutely stunning and we didn't mind too much. And the tomato farm!!! A highlight of the tour for me -- amazing fresh food (& tomato beer!?) and a beautiful setting to learn about the greenhouse process to grow all their crops in chilly Iceland. Definitely recommend spending a day exploring the Golden Circle and HIGHLY recommend picking this one with the Tomato Farm :)

Wonderful mixture of things to do, with just the right amount of time at each one so that you don’t feel rushed but can fit everything in. Did this on our second day in Iceland and loved every minute. Waterfalls breathtaking, geyser great fun, tomato restaurant delicious and informative, crater beautiful, random horse show entertaining. Plenty of rest stops to prevent boredom on the coach (which was of a good size and had USB charging points) though take your own snacks where possible because in Iceland everything is expensive. The only bit that wasn’t as interesting/beautiful/fun as everything else was Thingvellir but we weren’t there long anyway.

Excellent tour with an excellent (knowledgeable, charismatic, and humorous) guide Devin! A well organised, highly recommended tour covering the main highlights within one day. (The only thing that I wished is that we had more time to spend at each location, but considering the distance one makes by bus during the few hours, it is not realistic)
