What people are saying about Reykjavik

Fantastic guide & way to see some of Iceland without a car!

My guide, 'Frosty', kept us entertained and informed for the entire day. I learnt soo much about Iceland's history and geography and folklore just from this day alone. Can't recommend enough. Loved doing this as a small group too as opposed to the big buses. Pick up / drop off was super clear & great atmosphere and friendliness from all the staff! Sadly the restaurant for delicious fish stew was closed because it was a Sunday in Winter. Also my friend did the same tour just the day after me and seemed to have quite a different experience and saw different things to me so I guess the tour will depend on the weather / who's taking you out but it's all part of the fun & you'll see the main waterfalls & beaches for sure :)

Oh boy, this one is a blast because of the guide

Where do I start, the guide Hatla really knows how to engage people , loads of humour, stories , acting/entertainer skills and history... When I come again back to Iceland in a year or two, I will check what other tours are available with this guide. Other than that Kirkjufell and that black lava beach are completely amazing areas to visit...

Great fun and the opportunity to try food you probably would'nt try

There were six of us that met up with Ester for a great tour of some lovely restaurants in Reykjavik. Ester was a perfect host telling us about the origins of the food and other interesting facts about life in Iceland. The walk is not far as it concentrates around the old part of Reykjavik and you are very full afterwards.

Be open to new things that are different.

I liked the Icelandic food tour, Solveig was really friendly and told me things not only about the food on the tour but also everyday life in Iceland. Great. It’s important to be open to try new things. Organisation, only 3 stars... call off and on again... a bit stressful.
