We really enjoyed this tour. The cave guide was so informative and funny. It was wonderful to see the lava tunnel and learn its history. We would recommend this tour. Once you keep your eye on where you're walking and watch your step, it's very safe. Not too strenuous to walk. Peter, our bus guide was very nice and friendly. Pick up was on time. All very well organised.

This was one of the best tours I did in Iceland and I totally recommend it. Maria, our guide is amazing, very knowledgeable and funny. She’s so far the best guide I had. She made the whole experience even better. Many thanks María for the wonderful day at the caves and snorkelling tour!

We visited the Leiðarendi cave (lava tube) close to Bláfjöll. The local landscape is great! The cave is located in the middle of a lava field, but is relatively small with about 900 meters in length and a few sections where you have to crawl. The physical challenge is not too high. The cave is natural and has not been further developed for tourism. So there is no artificial lighting or stairs. We were a small group and our guide was absolutely great and told our group some terrific horror stories about the cave and Iceland. All in all, a very nice trip that you just have to really let yourself go. If you want to climb several hours in a row through a larger cave or are looking for a challenge, you should look for another tour. I think this tour can also be done well with children.
