The tour starts at Geysir where you can see spouting hot springs, including the most active geyser in Iceland Strokkur. Continue across the torrid landscape to Gullfoss, where you can stand next to an amazing waterfall as enormous quantities of water tumble violently into a deep, meandering gorge. Spend some time exploring a cross-section of Iceland's natural wonders and geological phenomena at Thingvellir National Park, an area of such historic and geological significance it was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2004. Learn about the open-air assembly of Althing and how the landscape was husbanded over 1,000 years. See the dramatic fissures and rifts in the landscape caused by dramatic volcanic activity throughout history.

    Really great tour. Had a brilliant guide Bjortnik, was a retired professor and was really knowledgeable and passionate about Iceland. Half day tour has a little less time at Gullfoss and the visitor centre at the national park was closed when we arrived. Morning tour has a little more time at attractions. Would definitely recommend!

    It was a nice and informative tour. Our tour guide Johanna had a lot of stories to tell along the way. It was also good that she’s setting some rules inside the bus, i.e. sticking to the first chosen seat. She stayed patient though some people came late and didn’t follow the time frame of the tour. I can definitely recommend it! Price was worth it!

    Amazing trip even in deep snow ! The driver of the bus was unbelievable. Wish we had had longer at each place as no time for viewing and eating and purchasing ! We did the 6hr trip so maybe the longer one would have given more time. The time went so quickly though and each stop was fabulous. Especially Gulfoss waterfall. Although too far for my elderly Companion to walk which was a shame. That should have been spelt out I think. A must do trip
