Full description

Discover one of the most incredible feats of nature on a sightseeing tour in southern Iceland. Go to the Glacier Lagoon of Jökulsárlón, and marvel at the icebergs and waterfalls of a glacier river. Following a pick-up from your hotel, transfer to Skaftafell National Park. Cruise among the icebergs on a 30-minute boat tour of the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon. Return to Reykjavik via the waterfalls of Stjórnarfoss and Seljalandsfoss. At the latter, walk behind the cascades to feel the might of the waterfall up-close. Visit the charming village of Vík at the southernmost point of Iceland, and see the black sand beaches and sea stacks off the coast. If the weather is good, enjoy views of the Eyjafjallajökull volcano.

Die Fahrt zur Gletscherlagune wird unvergessen bleiben. Bei Sonnenschein und angenehmen Temperaturen war der Anblick in der Lagune traumhaft. Unser Guide Simon hat die lange Fahrt mit vielen Informationen und Geschichten rund um Island und seine Einwohner kurzweilig gemacht. Ich kann diesen Ausflug wärmstens empfehlen.

This tour was amazing! Our guide Anna was so passionate about Iceland and showed us the most beautiful places of the south cost. It doesn't feel like a guided tour, far more it feels like a friend shows you around the country. During the long journey she told us a lot of stories about Iceland, how people live here and she even sang for us!! The glacier lagoon and the waterfalls were amazing and soo beautiful. Meget fin og oplevelsesrig tur med mange gode stop og uendelig smuk natur. Guiden meget vidende og dygtig. Han måtte gerne være mere insisterende på, at folk skulle komme til tiden efter pauserne, synes jeg. Hele tiden kom nogen for sent og vi blev meget forsinkede. Jeg ville gerne have vidst lidt mere om turen på forhånd, f.eks. at der var mulighed for at købe mad. Guiden måtte gerne have fortalt ca. hvor bådturen gik fra i Jøkulsarlon, for jeg gik ned til bryggen, hvor jeg kunne se både, men så langt væk var det slet ikke. Alt i alt en meget god oplevelse.
