Our family had a great day going from Reykjavik. Note: It is a long 4.5 hr drive in the bus. We did stop at a great little road cafe with great food options, including Vegetarian options. The 1-2 hrs at the Glacier and Boat tour were awesome and absolutely beautiful. Well worth the cost of the tour. We must have see near 5-6 different types of landscapes and the pics were amazing. We saw 2-3 beautiful waterfalls on the drive down and back. This tour was well worth it and everyone in our family had a great time

Unfortunately, its a very long tour. The drive is about 4 and a half hours one way, but it is totally worth it! The glacier lagoon is so beautiful. It is unlike anything that you have ever seen before. Also, the boat ride was amazing. You get up close to the ice and the guide even lets you hold it and eat it! Such a great experience!

This is one of the must sees in Iceland. And you can see much more than just Jokulsarlon! We had an amazing guide who told us many stories related to places we drove past and at the end she even sang us a beautiful traditional song. Just keep in mind that the tour depends on the weather. Ours was cancelled because of strong wind at Jokulsarlon (which is the highlight of the tour) so we did it a few days later. It's always good to have plan B at Iceland :)
