Full description

Explore the dramatic landscapes of the south of Iceland on a full-day sightseeing tour. Go to the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon outlet of the largest glacier in Europe.

Following a pick-up from your hotel in Reykjavik, transfer to the southern coast and the dramatic Glacier Lagoon. Enjoy plenty of time to see the floating icebergs and enjoy the stunning scenery.

During the season, make sure to reserve your ticket to the boat cruise on the Jökulsárlón and experience the unique Glacier Lagoon spectacle up close. When you prebook, your place is guaranteed.

Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon is Iceland’s largest and deepest glacier lagoon. It branches from Breidamerkurjokull, an outlet glacier of Vatnajokull, Europe’s largest glacier.

Return to Reykjavik, stopping at the gorgeous waterfall Seljalandsfoss. You will visit the Diamond beach with black sand, and there will be an additional stop in Iceland's southernmost village at Vík for dinner.

Overall a good tour. Very long and driver was good and gave us plenty of breaks. Unfortunately in November there is limited daylight so that is the challenge. You can’t control nature and we tried to do as much as we could during the daylight hours but it was a tough. We we’re on a hunt for aurora but sadly she didn’t show. In hindsight I’d book my tours for first couple of days so if you miss her on first night you have a chance on other nights. This tour was not a northern light tour so it was merely a hope but I would have liked to see some of the waterfalls during brighter light but it was also an overcast day. Nothing the tour operator could do about any of it. Our driver was very informative and we did get to see the glacial lagoon and black diamond beach. Just be prepared for a long day. Actually wish I’d taken the longer tour that included the ice caves. Enjoy your time

A long bus ride but all the time spent sitting is worth it: the spectacle on arrival is incredible, even if the time spent there is short. And yes, you have to redo the trip in the return direction. Despite the weather (icy wind and pouring rain), I have never seen anything like it in my life and I will keep fond memories of it.

Wow amazing. Such a must do thing to do while in Iceland. The guide was amazing. So funny and had a lot of knowledge to share with us. Made the trip more enjoyable. The glacier lagoon is beautiful. We also got to see the black sand beach too. Can’t recommend this tour enough.
