Full description

Enjoy a guided wetsuit snorkeling tour in the Silfra fissure, located in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Thingvellir National Park. Leave Reykjavik behind and discover this hidden natural wonder, where the 100-meter underwater visibility and bright colors make the experience almost unrealistic.

Immerse yourself in the pristine water of Silfra—some of the purest waters on the planet. When snorkeling in Silfra, travel between two continents, ending the tour in a lagoon often called "the real blue lagoon" because of the bright blue color of the water. Snorkeling in Silfra fissure, where you are guided into this magnificent scenery, is a total must-see for all nature and adventure-thirsty travelers. Enjoy freedom in terms of movements and free dive by holding your breath.

Stay dry underneath your drysuit or, for the more adventurous, choose a wetsuit to feel the natural cool waters. The wetsuits used are six millimeter in thickness and isolate the body well from the cold water. Warm up with a cup of hot chocolate and leave feeling reinvigorated

I would definitely recommend this activity to anybody. I went with Luis who was amazing and all the guides were very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The water was obviously cold on the face but the dry suit kept the rest of me warm. Beautiful, clear views underwater were a highlight as well as getting some good photos to make friends and family jealous.

This was a beautiful experience! The hardest part was suiting up. In order to prevent leakages in the dry suit, there is a collar fastened on your neck that is uncomfortable. The choking sensation dissipates when you are in the water. The views were magnificent. I brought a disposable underwater camera which I’m so glad I did in addition to the go pro pictures the guides took.

This was a great experience. We came straight from the airport, and the guide was extremely helpful and friendly on our drive to the dive location. The staff was well trained and all very friendly. Eyal was our guide and he made even the most inexperienced and nervous swimmer feel comfortable. Make sure you wear leggings, two pairs of socks, a thermal layer on top with a thin layer above (you cannot have a hood.) The dry suit kept us warm and protected. We didn’t even have to change out of our clothes. We had to put on a onesie shell over our clothes, and the dry suit above that. The views are incredible and this is a once in a lifetime experience if you’re just traveling.
