Full description

Spend the day exploring the dramatic landscapes of the south of Iceland along with its coastline on a full-day sightseeing tour from Reykjavik. Along the way, discover a variety of rivers, waterfalls, mountains, and glaciers.

Following a pickup from listed hotels or guesthouses by bus in central Reykjavík, travel to the gorgeous waterfalls of Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss. At the waterfall at Seljalandsfoss, walk behind the cascades and feel the spray on your face.

Continue to Skógafoss to marvel at the 60-meter drop. Pass the black sand beaches of the southern coast and enjoy the power of the sea.

Visit the glacier snout of Sólheimajökull to see an outlet glacier of Mýrdalsjökull. Admire the ever-changing feat of nature up-close. Then, look at the basalt sea stacks at Reynisfjara, Iceland’s southernmost village just south of the Mýrdalsjökull glacier, before returning to Reykjavik.

Amainggggg day!! Definitely recommend this tour our driver and guide was called Thomas & Garry very knowledgeable and kept the drive fun and interesting I learnt so much just on the drive alone. The waterfalls we stopped at are the most beautiful waterfalls I have ever seen they are magical! I do recommend walking behind the last waterfall you get soaked but it is so worth it you’ll regret not walking behind it if you don’t! The black beach was unreal such a beautiful place but them sneaker waves are scary! Do stay back they are huge!! You do stop off for food on this tour at cafe / restaurants but to save money we went to supermarkets day before to grab butties crisps chocolates & drinks. We took pack lunches to all our excursions and we found it saved us a lot of money and it’s just as enjoyable :) boss day and recommend

This was a fun trip. We got to see many different things: waterfalls, glaciers, black sand beaches and I learned a lot about Iceland. Shoutout to Monika she was a great guide, great sense of humor, took photos (which was helpful for me being a solo traveler) and even played her Icelandic music!

The tour was brilliant however the same cannot be said for the guide! I didn’t catch her name but she was very abrupt and at some points rude! She almost left some members of the group behind as they were 5 mins late getting back to the bus! I can’t imagine the panic of those people! We booked this tour last minute and I’m so glad we did, all the stops were amazing, especially walking being the waterfall at the last stop! Just a shame about the guide.
