Highlighted reviews from other travelers
This tour was the highlight of our trip. The bus was comfortable, there was adequate time at each stop, the hotel rooms were good as was the included breakfast. It was refreshing to travel with no worries and just enjoy the scenery. I think the best part of the tour, aside from all the phenomenal places we saw, was our tour guide and bus mates. Our tour guide set the tone for the trip and was amazing. If you happen to travel with Walter you will not be disappointed. He was funny, had excellent knowledge about the country and sights, and was transparent in itineraries and expectations for the trip. Travelling with a group for multiple days offers opportunities to interact and meet new people if you so chose, which can be fun. This was my first tour experience and I would definitely recommend it and do it again.
I've just returned from a fabulous tour. I'm not going to review the beauty of Iceland, but here I want to thank our guide, Guli, for the way he made us live this experience. He transported us into history with fascinating stories, showed us everything through the eyes of an Icelander and explained many geographical and geological aspects in depth. It's clear that he is passionate about his work and his Country and he knows how to pass that on to those he guides. He often stopped at places not included in the program, which were actually all very worthwhile for their beauty or historical or geological interest.
