This is by far the best tour I’ve had in Iceland! Underrated tour, in my opinion. Personally, I think this is a wee bit better than the golden circle tour. The tour guide/driver, who calls himself “HBO”, was great! He’s knowledgeable about the places we’ve visited. He is also very jolly and entertaining. HBO also added some hidden stops during the tour. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Snaefellsnes Peninsula tour was my favourite trip while in Iceland. We were blessed with good weather which really exaggerated the amazing views along the way, making the long journey worth it! HBO was our tour guide - he was lovely, very informative and took time to chat to us individually and get to know us. Highly recommend this tour as a must while in Iceland!

Omar was an excellent driver guide who made this 11-hour tour interesting throughout. There were only 8 of us in a small van and excellent weather conditions, so I was able to take advantage of taking lots of photos from the vehicle windows. Omar made lots of stops along the way, in addition to the official stop. My favorites were stopping to say hello to some Icelandic horses and going behind a waterfall and tasting the fresh water. Omar helped me through some slippery parts on the path to get behind the waterfall. Our lunch spot in Olafsvik was the best meal in Iceland I had to date--pan seared cod (fish of the day). We saw black sand beaches, a freshwater lagoon, glaciers, and Mt. Kirkjufell. Our day ended with a walk along the coastline in Arnarstapi. Thank you, Omar, for showing us the highlights of your beautiful Western Iceland.
