The guide was absolutely brilliant, so passionate about finding the lights for our group, you could tell seeing them was important to him too. The smaller van meant we could be more nimble and stop at the first sight of the aurora. We were lucky to have had such a spectacular show. 10/10

First of all there was misunderstanding on pick up location & GetYourGuide admin/employee was rude to us in the call saying that they don’t care about any emails (this is the only communication media with the tour provider). However this was covered when driver were willing to pick up in latest agreed location. Guide was informative & fun (with free hot choc & snacks). Few aurora was foreseen even though there were lots of clouds.

Phenomenal. The smaller buses are able to pull off the road quicker to find places to stop when the lights break through the clouds, so often have more success than the bigger coaches who are more restricted as to where they can stop. Our guide, Thor, knew the area so well, he took us to 3 separate areas and we were absolutely blessed so see an incredible show of the northern lights on a night where few buses were successful in chasing them. Pick up was on time at 20.30hrs at bus stop 1, and we were dropped back off around 01.00hrs (admittedly slightly late due to us seeing the best lights on the way back to Reykjavik). Highlight of our trip.
