The tour is super worth it! We were considering renting a 4x4 car to go there ourselves but after seeing the roads, I imagine the same trip would've taken us at least twice as long. Or guide Thomas was driving fast yet safely and comfortably - clearly the skills you pick up from years and years of experience doing such tours. Not only a great driver but a superb guide - very interesting facts about history, culture, locations, food, geography and everything else. Plus an unreal sense of humor made the tour just fly by and left us all super satisfied.

Our guide Tom was great. He is so enthusiastic about his island and he knows a lot about the history and nature. Very educational, relaxed and definitely recommended. The trip took much longer than planned but when we saw the northern lights he immediately saw a dark spot and let us get out to take pictures! Really a must do this tour to see the interior and the power of nature. Without this tour, Iceland would not be complete for us! Thanx Tom!!

Great tour with the best tour guide; Tom. He is not only proud to be from Iceland he also perfectly brings about his enthusiasm on the natural beauties of his country. It was a long day but never boring. The hike was great and the last bus stop was at the most beautiful area I have ever seen ( and I have seen quite a lot on this planet). Tom's geological knowledge of this country is great and he carefully explained it to us. And Marvel's Loki will never be the same for me…ask Tom!
