Full description

Explore the dramatic landscapes of the south of Iceland on a full-day sightseeing tour. Go to the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon outlet of the largest glacier in Europe.

Following a pick-up from your hotel in Reykjavik, transfer to the southern coast and the dramatic Glacier Lagoon. Enjoy plenty of time to see the floating icebergs and enjoy the stunning scenery.

During the season, make sure to reserve your ticket to the boat cruise on the Jökulsárlón and experience the unique Glacier Lagoon spectacle up close. When you prebook, your place is guaranteed.

Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon is Iceland’s largest and deepest glacier lagoon. It branches from Breidamerkurjokull, an outlet glacier of Vatnajokull, Europe’s largest glacier.

Return to Reykjavik, stopping at the gorgeous waterfall Seljalandsfoss. You will visit the Diamond beach with black sand, and there will be an additional stop in Iceland's southernmost village at Vík for dinner.

Wow amazing. Such a must do thing to do while in Iceland. The guide was amazing. So funny and had a lot of knowledge to share with us. Made the trip more enjoyable. The glacier lagoon is beautiful. We also got to see the black sand beach too. Can’t recommend this tour enough.

Lots to see and plenty of stops on the way to the lagoon to break up the long journey. The glacie lagoon is amazing and the boats run until the end of November. Great driver/guide. We were not rushed at any of the stops. The only negative is the bus is very cramped with hardly any leg room but all the tour buses are the same.

The 10 hour round trip from Reykjavík is intense. It ended up taking over 15 hours, with bathroom & food breaks, sightseeing and exploring, so be warned if you looking for a short day trip. I left my hotel at 6:30 am and was back that night at 11:45 pm. It nearly killed me but some spots are wort the pain. Diamond beach and glacier lagoon are just breathtaking, a fantastic experience. Huge recommendation.
