This trip was fantastic from start to finish! Our guide was friendly and helpful and the driver did an excellent job driving us through some very windy conditions. The sights we stopped at were amazing! At most places we felt we were given adequate time to explore. Go in knowing you will be on the bus longer than you will be out at the sights but the scenery is stunning from start to finish so we didn't mind relaxing and watching the beauty go by. Pro Tip: Sit on the left side of the bus if you can as most of the nice views will be on your left (if you can't, you can catch them on the way back to Reykjavik as the same road is taken back). We got to see a beautiful rainbow at one of the waterfalls and saw the other at sunset. We also saw seals playing at the lagoon. It was a magical day! We would highly, highly recommend this tour!

This is a VERY long day, but that said, it is probably the only way of seeing these sights from Reykjavic without hours and hours of driving each way. There is a stop about every 90 mins. Some just a 10 minute bathroom break, others longer to allow you to get food/drink ( VERY expensive and long queues - take a pack lunch/drink and snacks with you as we did!). The Ice Lagoon is probably about 5 hour drive out of Reykjavic, so that will give you a good idea of the time spent travelling on the coach each way. We got back at 10.45pm. (15hours) Was this trip worth it? Yes. Otherwise we would not have seen the lagoon and small icebergs. We did the boat trip, which allowed you a closer look at the icebergs and we would recommend. If you take this trip for what it is - an early start and a long day, but go prepared, sit back, enjoy the view and the knowledge/explanations of your guide on route. (And make sure you can have a lie in the next day!) A little overpriced in our opinion.

Long day but so worth it! We had already done most of the south west and south east of the country so this was perfect to visit this area. Tour guide was amazing, and I felt like some guides can be a bit annoying but this guy was great, spoke softly and gave direct information so you knew what you were looking at. Only thing I felt was everything was a bit rushed. Very limited time at each attraction, but for a 10+hr day I can understand. Other than that totally worth the trip!
