We had a fantastic time today. We were meant to go to the Blue Lagoon but that was closed due to the Grindavik Volcano. After 20 minutes of receiving the email about the bad news, Nice Travel had already organised an alternative which we were very happy about. Christina our tour guide was an absolute joy, she is very enthusiastic and knowledgeable and very friendly. The alternative tour we had was absolutely fantastic. We will definitely book a tour with Nice Travel again if the opportunity came up.

It was a brilliant day out unfortunately due to the volcano we were unable to go to the blue lagoon but we were taken to another hot springs. Our guide, name of blood was very helpful and caring . Loved every minute of it Shame about the blue lagoon but nature rules

Experience Iceland’s 2 most visited natural attractions, the Golden Circle and the Blue Lagoon, in one day on a comfortable and convenient minibus tour. Depart Reykjavik and head for the Thingvellir National Park, where the Eurasian and American tectonic plates converge. Amble through the stunning, lake-filled area, hopping back and forth between continental boundaries, and view the site where the Icelandic parliament was held from 930-1798. Next, head to the Geysir Hot Spring with geothermal pools reaching temperatures of 200 degrees. Witness the Strokkur geyser erupting a plume of boiling water and steam 100 feet in the air. Grab a bite to eat, before heading to the breathtaking waterfall at Gullfoss. Next, visit the Kerid volcanic crater with its deep blue waters, surrounded by vibrant red rock. Finish your tour at the iconic Blue Lagoon. Luxuriate in the warm, geothermal waters, making use of an included silica mud mask, before heading back to Reykjavik.

What an absolutely amazing day! Christina our guide, was fabulous, so knowledgeable and humorous, she really went over and above to make sure everyone was enjoying themselves, including an extra stop at a farm that makes their own ice cream, and a visit to see some beautiful wild horses. Beautiful scenery, the frozen waterfall was magical, thoroughly enjoyed every stop. Although the Blue lagoon was closed, we had the option of visiting Hvammssvik hot springs as an alternative. I would thoroughly recommend this, we even got to see the Northern Lights! Fabulous day from start to finish, if you're debating on booking, do it!
