Stop at Þingvellir National Park, known for its exceptional beauty and historical importance as the site of the world's first parliaments. Continue into the hot springs area of Geysir, before driving to Langjökull to take part in a once-in-a-lifetime adventure activity. Take control of a snowmobile or travel as a passenger to explore the vast white ice cap of Langjökull. Stay warm protective clothing during your trip. Make your way back to Reykjavík via the spectacular Gullfoss Waterfall and gaze in wonder as the Hvítá River thunders into a 32-meter deep canyon.

  • The snowmobile ride is based on 2 people per vehicle. Single occupancy snowmobiles are subject to an additional fee, to be paid to the mountaineers at Langjökull glacier
  • No snowmobiling experience is necessary. You will be provided with all necessary safety equipment and protective clothing
  • Only 1 child will be permitted per adult
  • The operation of the tour depends on the conditions of the glacier
  • Due to sudden and unexpected weather changes, the snowmobile ride might be canceled after departure from Reykjavík
  • There will be the opportunity to purchase lunch at one of the stops, at your own expense

Golden Circle tour was good, our guide gave good background and explanation of the places very well. Snowmobiling was great fun! The guides are very good and gave clear instructions, and very helpful when any passengers loses control of the vehicle. Only downside was the trucks going and coming back didnt have a good heater system, everyone was freezing cold and exausted. And the truck that came and pick us up to the basecamp was 20mins late. But that probably doesn’t happen often i think.

Really good day out. Long duration (>10 hours) but worth it. Snow mobiling was superb. Felt a little rushed and would have liked a bit more time at each location, especially national park with tectonic plates, but understand we needed to move on to fit everything in. It goes dark early in winter (4pm).

A great experience and good way to see some more of Iceland. I think it could be improved by the snowmobiling being split into smaller groups so that you can ride the snow mobiles a bit more and have less stop/starting. Frosty, the guide was great. Really informative and funny.
