Full description

Visit the Blue Lagoon and enjoy the ultimate spa treatment with silica mud masks, and an unparalleled relaxing atmosphere in the geothermal waters. Then go on a northern lights tour. Enjoy free time during the day to eat and explore.

Start your afternoon by visiting Iceland's most famous attraction, the Blue Lagoon. The Blue Lagoon offers lava and moss-filled scenery, state-of-the-art facilities, a unique atmosphere, and silica masks that make your skin extra firm, yet incredibly soft.

Included in this combo is the Blue Lagoon Comfort Package, where you receive entrance to the Blue Lagoon, a silica mud mask, use of a towel, and a drink of your choice. Next, head back to Reykjavik on a new and comfortable coach, offering you free Wi-Fi. Upon arrival back in Reykjavik, enjoy some free time to relax, have dinner and begin on The Northern Lights Tour.

The Northern Lights, also known as the Aurora Borealis, are caused by the interaction of particles from the sun with the upper atmosphere near the North Pole.   The locations visited during the Northern Lights tour vary from day to day depending on weather conditions. The weather and aurora forecasts are studied in order to find the best location each night to spot the lights.

Since this tour is weather-dependent, sightings are not guaranteed. However, if you don't see any Northern Lights during this tour, you are welcome to join the tour again, free of charge.   Tour Schedule 1:00 PM Blue Lagoon transfer departure from BSÍ Bus Terminal 2:00 PM Blue Lagoon comfort admission 4:15 PM Bus transfer departure from Blue Lagoon to Reykjavík 5:00 PM Enjoy some free time, eat dinner, and get ready for the Northern Lights tour 8:30 PM Hotel/bus stop pick up (optional) 9:00 PM Northern Lights Hunt tour departure from BSÍ Bus Terminal* 12:00 AM Approximate return to Reykjavík *10:00 PM (August 25th – September 30th and March 15th - April 15th)

Fantastically nice and plenty of time in the blue lagoon. However, you can check times yourself so you don't miss tour no. 2... When I book an arranged trip, I expect clear information about all times and places. The northern lights tour was magical and we were lucky with clear weather and a spectacle in the sky! The guide joked a lot, but not my kind of humor unfortunately...

the second part concerning the northern lights has been canceled due to weather conditions, I am waiting for a response to know if a refund of this part can be made. About the Blue Lagoon, it was perfect. Meet at the BSI bus station for departure, bus on time, the journey is pleasant crossing a lunar landscape. On the way back, the bus dropped us back to our hotel, which was not expected, so very good. The Blue Lagoon is really to do: contrast between the milky blue of the water and the volcanic black of the rock. A Sicilian mask and a drink included. Very pleasant moment.

Excursion in 2 parts of the coup guides and different participants. The break between the 2 activities is welcome and allows for self-reliance on the meal. The blue lagoon is a completely new and relaxing trip. We were lucky enough to see an aurora borealis despite the cloudy weather (index 3/9). Good advice from our guide to observe them and be able to immortalize them in photos. We highly recommend this excursion for a first visit to Iceland. Enjoy !!!
