Full description

Enjoy a safe and reliable transfer between Reykjavík City Centre and the world-famous Blue Lagoon, while also getting the opportunity of selecting between the Comfort Package or the Premium Package.

Experience the tranquility of the unique Geothermal Milky Blue Sea waters, considered by many to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience and an unmissable part of your Iceland Holiday. There are frequent departures to and from Reykjavik allowing you to explore on your own time.

The Blue Lagoon was formed in 1976 during an operation at the nearby geothermal power plant. In the years that followed, people began to bathe in the water and apply the silica mud to their skin. It’s known for its restorative qualities and health benefits.

The Blue Lagoon is surrounded by a mossy lava field, offering incredible scenery, with state-of-the-art facilities and an other-worldly atmosphere.

Choose between two different packages available and take some time to relax. Afterward, return to Reykjavík. Your return ticket is flexible/open and can be used for all departures from the Blue Lagoon.

Normally in Iceland, the service is very good, with cheerful, diplomatic attitudes. But, I found that one of the bus driver's, female, on an Exertions Bus, was very rude, and not helpful at all. When I questioned where and when the bus to transfer us to the airport from the Blue Lagoon would arrive, she said it had already left, no smile. I mentioned it was due to be there at 2:30, and she said, they changed the time, that's it, no smile, like she hated having to speak with me. She offered no apology, no options, nothing. I was so disappointed. I love Iceland, and its people, she needs some training on customer service with a smile. Customer service is paramount!!

i liked it, iceland is an expensive place so c$200 including transport is perhaps quite reasonable, but from a canadian perspective it is priced high, we had to wait maybe 45 minutes for the bus coming back to reykjavic but the lagoon itself was great and i was happy to have the experience including drink face mud and towel

Excellent alround experience. Bus journey to and from the Blue Lagoon was easy from the bus station. Although very busy had plenty of room once in the Lagoon. Time in Lagoon on the day we went was not restricted. Booked on-line before leaving home so no hassles on the day of visiting. Recommend taking your own 'extra towel' and thongs, plastic cover for your mobile protection, to save the cost of hiring these items.
