The experience was great, especially the climbing was great and something different. The glacier hike makes climate change very clear to you. The guide was really experienced, safe and was able to impart a lot of knowledge to us. The only negative point is the rather long waiting times when climbing.

Our guides were Simon and Nicola. The two were great. You can tell that they are doing these tours with great passion. We could walk to the glacier from the parking lot. So it's not high up on the mountain, but on a glacier tongue that protrudes all the way down. But it was still beautiful. You feel a bit like in another world. Since the glacier is constantly changing, every tour is a little different. The guides only decided on site where it would be best for the day. We then did the climbing on an ice wall that leads down from the plateau into a crevice. First we rappelled down and then we could climb up again from below. Shoes with a stiff sole are highly recommended! You can borrow some for around € 6. The rest of the equipment is included. The 4.5 hours passed quickly. It was really fun and was also less strenuous than expected.

Meg was wonderful, informative, supportive, enthusiastic. The hike was great. I think the ice wall was a bit disappointing because you sell a very different picture and we were all looking for a high wall, not a 2 meter wall. That was disappointing but as participants we were cheerful nonetheless.
