If you haven't been, it is worth going to the Blue Lagoon, especially if you're on the way to/from the airport. We got a bus transfer to the airport afterwards for our flight home. The free drink and mask was a nice touch, and I enjoyed trying the steam room and sauna room too. Everywhere feels very clean and the water is a lovely temperature. It was busy however there were always little pockets you could find that were more quiet. The mossy lava field around the site and the springs are beautiful to have a walk around afterwards too.

Very weird experience. Security everywhere. You have to first change, then take a shower and then you can get inside. There is no room for you to just relax, you‘re either in the water or you‘re standing basically in the hall. Oh, except the 8 chairs by the cafe (not kidding, 8 chairs). The lagoon itself is beautiful and very warm. You have to see it once, twice is not necessary tho.

Worth every cent! We bought the most basic ticket and it was great (we could have a free drink, a face mask and use the sauna and obviously showers and changing rooms with towels included). There is no time limit as well, which was great! Would recommend taking flip flops, because changing rooms can get quite messy with all the people using it, etc. apart from that, great experience!
